the garden part is always easy for me , if i have raw new ground . i just put dolomitic lime and fish meal on it , and mulch fabric , then plop plants in . as soon as the get 2 ft high i hit em with liquid fish emulsion and magic fish . they grow 4-6 feet in a week . i have mortgage lifters and russian oxhearts , and other heirlooms including the cherokee purple that reach 10-17ft tall . you have to pick em with a ladder ! and thats pulling all the suckers off daily . i learned something from an old gardener too though . neber let more than 2 tomatos keep to a set if you want huge tomatos....ine get3lbs and larger . and my vines are trellised in double height concret wire cages and racked at 16 ft with bamboo across the top and tied up . i do not play about gardening . i take it very serious . my squash plants get 5 ft and just as big diameter (the plants do ) . the squash , ive seen gow in louisiana to a foot long and 7 inches in dia , in a week . crooknecks ! my pole beans always ht 12 ft or more . one year i have a freakish purple hull vine that grew 23 ft long ! this is not b.s. yes , i know how to garden , ive been doing it for 42yrs . and even im still learning , usually from my elders ...........i`ll pist pics this summer...god bless and have a great week .

as for the sheeple . im afraid we will see a lot of the neo hippies and yuppies die when WROL hits . i`ll be up in the mtns geared and arme down . with a garden . and my location is surrounded up 164,000 acres of national forest . so let the dumb nato troops cahse me and mine around the woods . i don`t really care where they end up at...just those i do care about . 5 things im good at , gardening , woodworking , cooking , long range rifle , and any bow ( long bow , recurve , or compound ! my freezers stay full .of fish and game and veggies , plus i do my own jerky , and dehydrate then vacuum seal and pack . the seed longterm storage keeps me way ahead of the game . it finishes a spot that worried me . cuz everything else i have that i need . cept what i will eventually find , a good wife .
